| Event Description: | The Salvation Army, along with community leaders, sponsors the Veterans Cruise In to raise money for The Veterans and Family Center in Beaverton. Folks who show their cars pay a nominal registration fee.
The Veterans and Family Center is a transitional housing center that provides a therapeutic environment to 68 vets and their families. Clients get tools necessary to become self-sufficient. The Cruise In will showcase pristine classic cars and feature the Jericho Road bluegrass band. Swat car, police, fire and military vehicles will be there. Vendors food, prizes, Radio Disney and other kid's activities! The entrance fee for the event is free.
